Practical Information
Slovenia is a small country that has to offer many things to do and see. It has an unique topography, consisting of the part of two types of Alps, the Pannonian and Danubian lowlands and hills, and the Mediterranean coast.
The history of Slovenia also doesn't disappoint as it has some of the oldest artifacts in the world such as the first known musical instrument, the first known wheel, or Vače situla that counts amongst the highest-quality such vessels in general. That is why we have organised a guided tour of National Museum on 7th May for all our participants. Don't miss this unique networking opportunity!
Getting around
Getting around the center of Ljubljana is very simple. Most locations are accessible on foot.
Conference location for 2 days (8th and 10th) is "City Museum" or "Mestni Muzej" which is close to river Ljubljanica and Ljubljana's historical city core.
Second day of the Conference (9th) will be at "Dolenjska Museum" or "Dolenjski Muzej" in Novo Mesto which is a smaller city, abour 50 min east of Ljubljana, not far from the Croatian border. Bus transportation is organised and included in the price.

Here, we will give you some suggestions for accommodation. However, feel free to have a look on your own as May is a popular month to visit Ljubljana so some places get fully booked very fast and early.
